 “My practice as an artist has evolved over the past few years as I have explored the possibilities of working with fine art oil paintings and water colour juxtaposed with landscape photography from around the world.
This image has drawn on my history and a deep sense of place and belonging as I 'returned home' to photograph the high country and the area that has given me so much creative inspiration. It is where I spend much of my time and where I learnt the art of photography as a child with my dad.”
