Sapphire Coast - Jade Cantwell

“Having taken up open water swimming during the pandemic I had sought to make the ocean a familiar place, but the swirling water of the Sapphire Coast reminds me that it isn't my home and I'm just a guest there.
This photo was taken on a long awaited road trip post-lockdown in Victoria. I became very sick on the trip and the beautiful regions I visited were less appreciated as I wished I was home in my bed recovering. I sat on the cliff overlooking this view googling "How sick is too sick to swim in the ocean?", then jumped in anyway.”
