LOTUS TEMPLE - HILARY BRADFORD

On first glance this may be mistaken for the Sydney Opera House, but it’s actually the LOTUS TEMPLE, located in Delhi, India. Designed by Architect Fariborz Sahba and inspired by the lotus flower, the main structure is in the shape of petals rising to a height of over 34 metres.

This image was captured on a holiday to India in 2011 and is amazingly deserted by Indian standards. I was lucky to capture the white shirted man at just the right moment and the second man is also an added bonus to the image. I believe he is opening the cordoning and the place will be surrounded by people at any moment.
