Wake Up and Live - Cieran Murphy

“Just beyond the boundaries of Combe Gibbet, England, lives Brendan Driscoll, a talented musician and an old friend who shares my birthdate. Brendan has made a deliberate choice to dwell on the outskirts of society, following a lifestyle reminiscent of traditional 'travellers,' embracing an off-grid existence. Despite our shared past with a brief stint in the same household and childhood school structures, Brendan's life has diverged significantly. While confronted with obstacles that might have steered many towards addiction or worse, Brendan has defied the odds. His decision to lead a modest life in isolation, surrounded by personal possessions, guitars, literature and cherished family possessions, challenges our very notion of 'Home' and prompts us to reevaluate the profound impact of such an unconventional lifestyle choice on our perception of what constitutes a meaningful and fulfilling life.”
