MAXXI - Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo. Zaha Hadid, 2009 - PETER BENNETTS

In November 2009 I was commissioned by Zaha Hadid to photograph the MAXXI at the building’s opening before the art and collections installation. MAXXI’s the first constructed building that realises Hadid’s ‘flow form’ architecture. The building’s confluences of lines intersect and seperate simultaneously creating indoor and outdoor space. The meandering of rooms draws from and feeds the very culture of Rome. A masterwork by the master herself, Zaha Hadid.
